Campaign Story
Everyone has problems. Bigger or smaller, they matter because they interfeer with the quality of our lives. We can't prevent them all, but it would be a pity not to do something about the ones we can. The most common problems arise within a stressfull environment, where is hard to maintain a clear mind and to have patience with those around us. In the end, that leads to degraded relationships and then to a general state of unhappiness. One efficient strategy to prevent these is to understand the other person's needs and then help eachother. This is not always easy, but with a little help it can be done: scientists at Stanford University have founded a Research and Education Center for Compassion and Altruism and they have developed a special training program for compassion cultivation, to raise people’s quality of life and to those around them by reacting to day to day situations through a compassionate point of view. They also developed a Teacher Certification Program, so specialists from all over the world could teach this program in their communities.
I want to bring the program to my community as well, but the program is very expensive. If you think that kindness and compassion can lead to a happier world, please support me. Thank you!
