Public transport in the Philippines is a very complex one. It composes everything from the smallest habal-habal motorcycles, unique jeepneys, buses, to airlines and ferries. That is why going from one point to another point in the country makes a complicated process, especially for first-time travellers, either local or foreign.

In particular, planning out one's commute something that Filipinos and foreigners alike have to deal with. Unlike airlines, most public transport in the Philippines do not run on a definite fixed schedule, and even their fares vary more frequently than airlines do, even if the governing body running public transport companies impose fixed rates on certain routes. Also, some routes, say from Zamboanga City to Davao City do not have any direct land transport links, which makes it even more complicated. (just look how many map apps lack any public transport suggestions in many areas)

What's more alarming is that most public transport companies, particularly bus companies, do not provide any sort of customer service platform for them to connect to prospective passengers, and some even do not allow reservations, which makes trip planning even more difficult, specially on peak travel seasons.

That is why I am committed to solve this problem once and for all.

I am committing myself to study the process of planning my commute by using an application to allow me to find out how to go from point A to point B in the Philippines using public transport, and how will it cost me.

With this the public transport sector can act themselves together and provide a service platform to their passengers.
