Campaign Story
"Take what you need. Share what you can cheerfully give." This is the open pantry's simple advice to our community members of barangay Pantal, Dagupan City Pangasinan Philippines as inspired by Maginhawa community pantry and MCGI free store.
Seeing my neighbors who are not able to provide even the most basic needs of their family due to unemployment brought by this pandemic, it made me decide to organize our own community pantry.
More and more people are lining up hoping to get some from the pantry just to survive another day of hunger and despair.
I was able to get help from other concerned locals but as days go by, our finances are already stretched. I am knocking on your good hearts to help raise funds in order to continue and sustain this program.
Every cent makes a difference and prayer makes a miracle!
