Community Service Project by Joshua Hoagland

Hey there everyone! I’m Joshua Hoagland, I’m a senior and this year I have been given the great opportunity to lead my very own Community Service Project.

On January 18-19, 2019, I plan to bring a team of volunteers to Huay Kaew village (at the Huay Chompoo mountain, 1 ½ hours outside of Chiang Rai). We are going to help build a water reservoir for a Mien-tribe community. This reservoir will provide 20 families with a clean water supply all year round.

After we finish building the water reservoir, my volunteers and I plan to visit families in the community and give them a gift bag containing day-to-day necessities.
