Community Self Defence Training Centre

Dynamic Krav Maga teach self-defence, mental and physical conditioning and personal and community safety tactics to the good people in our community in Perth's southern suburbs. Why? Because various forms of bullying and abuse are far too prevalent in our society - in schools, in workplaces, and worst of all in the place we should be the safest-the family home. The human and economic cost of these issues on our society are massive. Victims often become perpetrators. Children exposed to violence, whether to themselves of loved ones bear long-term mental scars that impact their levels of happiness and productivity.

People who commit their working life to community service all too often bear the impact of aggression and violence - nurses, doctors, teachers, paramedics, police, transit guards, social workers etc.

We have far too many military veterans and emergency services workers struggling with psychological injuries that were sustained serving us. Substance abuse - particularly methamphetamines - and the resulting psychosis is leading to increasing numbers of assaults on innocents.

Many of our senior citizens are also targets of abuse, intimidation and violence.

Thankfully, we are starting to talk more openly about issues like family violence, mental illness and suicide. Long-term prevention strategies as such educating schoolchildren about healthy relationships will eventually reduce the impact of these issues.

Plenty of resources and attention are being put into perpetrators.

We focus on building, or in the case of survivors, rebuilding strength, resilience, and where necessary the skills needed to avoid, prevent, escape and if necessary fight our way out of danger. Krav Maga originated in the Jewish community in 1930's Europe to defend the community against Nazi violence. it was further developed in the IDF, then adapted once again for civilian use and taught throughout the world since the 1970's.

Dynamic Krav Maga was established in 2018 - our way of improving the safety, resilience and strength inf the community the founders and their kids live, work and play in. For about 14 months we have been teaching kids, teens, adults and community organisations life-saving - and life-enhancing - skills in various facilities.

Now we are establishing a secure training centre in Willetton which will enable us to expand our reach by offering more training times, scenario training facilities and most important of all - privacy and security to our students.

Many of our students - or those who would benefit most from training - need enhanced security measures. Unfortunately it is not always safe - or prudent for family violence victims, police officers or those suffering psychological injuries such as PTSD to train in publically accessible areas.

Dynamic Krav Maga also offer free training to young bullying victims, discounted training to professions that serve the community and seniors. Establishing and equipping a training centre will allow us to accomodate more of this, as well as hosting workplace training to thos on the Frontline of commmunity service.
