Community Library

Kalinga ng Kabataan sa Nayon is a community based Charitable Organization with operations focusing on remotely isolated places in Oras, Eastern Samar, Philippines.

Our Projects includes:

1- Yearly School Supplies distribution which benefits indigenous children in our community.
2- Nutrition Support (Feeding Program)
3- Student Learning Enhancement

Among our recipient Schools are:

Agsam Integrated School - Approximately 450 students.
Naga Elementary School - Approx. 100 Students
Anacta Primary School - Approx. 100 Students.

One of the challenges of the Students in the said schools is the access to relevant information to be more competent in their Education.

This challenge results from the geographic location of the community due to undeveloped access roads and unstable mobile communication in the area.

To help the Children of the said Schools in improving the quality of their education. Our foundation pledged to put up a Community Library that will cater the need of the students for their research, and provide them more sources for further learning to make them more competent in their studies.

Being new to Charity, our Organization is facing a challenge in meeting our funding to make this project into reality.

What we urgently need right now is a permanent facility that would be used as our library. We already received a parcel of land(lot) where we can build our Library courtesy of a generous donor. At the moment, the fund available in our Organization is till not enough to fully support the building; as of this writing, we are still in need of approximately 6,000 US Dollar to fully realize this project.

It is therefore we are seeking your help thru this platform to realize our project. Any help you extend will be of great help for the advancement of the education of the young generation in our community.

In addition to that, we also in need of Books (new or old/pre-owned) and other reading & research materials to equip our Library.
