Campaign Story
Hello and thanks for reading, we are a group of individuals whom started a fun little haunted house on our property for the kids in the surrounding community. I run a music school and we hosted the event at that location for 4 years, free to the community and supporting local charities. Each year the attendance grew by over 300%. By our fourth year we were told due to zoning issues we could no longer run at that location. We found a new location, but it would incur costs and so in our fifth year we created a businesses out of the event. It was extremely successful! We are now trying to step it up another notch and make this a staple for our community and the surrounding areas! Below is a brief history of the event. We are trying to raise $120,000.00 in capital costs or seek an investor for a 13% return in four months (End of November 2015).
In 2013 we brought in over 5000 guests, this year we anticipate a turnout of 10,000 to 15,000! In our five years running we have seen and average growth in attendance of 300% per year. The first four years the event was a free event for the public where all income was donated. After reaching an attendance of 1600 in our fourth year we had to find a suitable location and make the event a charged event, even with the change the event grew to over 5000 participants!
