Community Empowerment & Youth Skills Development

The aim of our fundraiser is to implement skills development programs in arts and culture , financial literacy and agriculture. These programs are intended to firstly; educate and uplift the youth , secondly to combat substance abuse and unemployement by providing entrepreneurial opportunities, and lastly this will allow unprivileged individuals the opportunity to expand their knowledge and expertise within these different sectors, while having fun!

Our organization is known as Next Generation Dream Shapers (NGDS) and as the name suggests, we are dedicated to paving the way for young people to achieve their dreams. We are currently based in Johannesburg , South Africa in the municipal area of Brakpan.

We intended to spend the money on purchasing educational material such as guides , books and stationary for the implementation of the financial literacy program.
The money will also be allocated towards the organisation and hosting of a local social event whereby members of the community will be given the opportunity to showcase their artworks , music , and live performances such as plays , poetry, etc.
The money that we raise is also intended to fund agricultural projects within the community. These projects include planting trees , fruit and vegetable gardens , and increase environmental awareness.
By reaching our maximum fundraising target amount we will successfully implement all the programs mentioned above and continue to uplift young people and members of communities across South Africa.
