With a high number of school leavers and unemployment I2ba NPO wants to use this event as a new start. Partnering with Platt Drive Primary School and AET centre we aim to empower youth, women and community as a whole. We need to buy sewing machines, computers, T-shirts and trophies. Our event being a 3 in 1 event does not have to be just a once off thing and leave the same problems in the community, we want people to be trained and be able to get a market in order for them to make a living out of what they will make with their hands. For small businesses though, funding and skills are always an issue and this where we want to fill the gap. As a charity organization we want to ensure that no individual goes to bed on an empty stomach. We have a transparency policy to avoid misuse of funds so all our funds are accounted for.
