The purpose of this campaign is to request donors assistance in building a toilet for the local clinic in a small village called Chunyu within the Ruangwa district in the Lindi Region of TANZANIA, East Africa.

The local clinic has only one working toilet which is used by almost 100 patients every day.
most of the patients that visit the clinic are pregnant women and the only working toilet is the male toilet.

The toilet's current design is very basic, with just tin roofing as walls and a single hole in the ground, it's used as a general toilet for bathing and other means.

The current toilet is used for both male and female patients.

There is no running water in the clinic, the patients are sometimes asked to come with their own water or purchase water from local water vendors at $0.30 a bucket of 20 liters.

Currently, the clinic is in dire need of this new toilet because it has been using this single toilet for almost 4 years and patients are more at risk due to the deterioration of the toilets state and lack of sanitation.

The new toilet will accommodate both female and male patients but with a modern design that will provide bathrooms, washrooms, and toilets in one main structure, it will have a divide with two separate entrances that will be used for males and females.

The new toilet will get a water tank that will harvest water from the roof of the toilet during the rainy seasons.

The water tank will have a capacity of 10,000 liters, it will be connected to the toilets so that the toilets will have running water as long as the tanks have water in them.

Due to my job, I always drive by through the villages and see what kind of assistance the villagers are requesting and what we can do to assist, but some of the projects are too big to go at them alone without external funding from other sources, hence I would like for whoever is reading this to take full faith in what I want to do for the community and as a collective if we can raise this money, so that we can help the users of this clinic to have a better toilet that is safe and clean.

Hi everyone, the new toilet area has been allocated and a cleanup was conducted. We discovered that the community had already started to dig up septic tank area, but clearly could not proceed due to lack of funds and resources.
