Community Affinity Keys

This fundraiser seeks to fund marginalized tabletop rpg creators from the global south for keys to the Affinity Publisher software, a very useful tool for creating professional-looking games. At the moment, the tool itself costs a very pretty penny for many creators in the aforementioned locations, as the exchange rate between currencies can be very unforgiving.

This is not the first iteration of this movement. Others who have benefited from similar campaigns have said that acquiring the said program has really changed the game for them and this fundraiser wants to do the same. As a former beneficiary of a program that did the same, I can attest to that as well. We hope that by giving people access, it will empower them to continue to create great games.

We hope to fund 30-32 creators for the initial campaign; the beneficiaries will be sorted via a survey form where the first 30-32 marginalized will be prioritized. If there are more sign ups than that, we will put the rest on a shortlist, where, if we raise more money than the goal, we'll have them first in line. The surveys will be up once we hit at least 50% of the goal, just to make sure that we actually have money to buy the keys for people.
