Campaign Story
"Better health is central to human happiness and well-being."
As a group of returned volunteers from West Ambae, in Vanuatus North we are raising money to support the comunnity in which we lived and worked in.
After much consideration, we have decided to focus our fundraising efforts on repairing the Ndui Ndui Hospital. Our ultimate goal is to fix every roof, wall, door, window etc. that needs fixing. If money allows we would also love to repaint the building as well as supply much needed medical supplies.
During Cyclone Pam, In-Patients were sent home to their villiages due to leaking roofs and unsafe hospital accomodation. Our main goal is to re-roof the entire Hospital to make it safe and durable again.
All money raised will go to:
- Materials for roofing, doors, windows etc.
- Medical Supplies
- Paint
- Labour Costs
We would like to hire some Ni-Vanuatu individuals who have been trained to complete this job, alongside some Australian Volunteers.

there was another fund raiser for a similar region by Nyra Boyle, but the money has not gone to where it was promised, Are you actually going to donate it to the hospital or will you be changing your mind too.
