Communicating Hydrocephalus with suspicious Left Cerebellar Nodule – Please help save Elijah Jesse’s Life

While we are extremely grateful to those who have helped since EJ's admission, after having been in the hospital for more than 6 days (and counting); it is, unfortunately, not enough.

We are knocking on everyones kind and generous hearts to help us in raising funds for EJ's hospitalization. Our family simply cannot make ends meet – hospitalization especially in this time of the pandemic, is financially exhausting.

Elijah Jessie, EJ as known to most of us, is a sweet and jolly kid, a bundle of joy to our whole family. We decided to bring him to the hospital to have checked on 22 May 2021 due to his unusual sleepiness, manifestation of poor feeding and vomitting. He tested negative for dengue or typhoid fever so after a series of laboratory tests, he was later diagnosed with communicating hydrocephalus, a condition that never crossed our mind that he might have. EJ was born normal and also tested normal on his new born screening.

Yesterday, May 26, 2021 he had seizure attack for 30 minutes that he needed to be intubated. Heartbreaking as it may seem, we have to endure the pain of seeing him in this condition, but our little angel is brave and strong one, as he continues to fight and win this battle.

He has been transferred to PICU right where he is continuously monitored. We are continously praying for his strength and recovery as we wait on doctor's order, if he would be needing operation or other treatments.

We never would have thought that we would be in this situation; more so, helpless and humble in asking for everyones help financially. We would also like to thank everyone who has been continuously praying for EJ and to those who have helped in their own way. You have all been our source of strength and hope.
