Campaign Story
Simple, Happy, Love.
These were the three words Dad spoke when having the hard conversations about what was ahead.
We wanted to do something that would allow an ongoing memory of our Dad & Mum for everyone in the future years, in addition to the ones you individually already hold.
English Heritage have kindly agreed to site a commemorative bench for us at the Castle Acre Priory. Simple.
We think it fitting that something of a permanent and useful nature be placed in a setting he gained so much enjoyment from, that will itself allow others to do the very same thing. Happy.
We shall inscribe with 'in loving memory of Richard and Susan Read'. A lasting dedication to both; taken from us before their time. Love.
If you'd like to contribute, then we'd like that too.
Jim, Martyn, Emily.
