Update on Coco the abandoned siamese cat

Hi! Im Coco, i weigh 9.7kg. I used to have an owner. One day i heard that we are moving out. I thought we were moving to a new house, but then i found myself being moved out to the nearby carpark instead. I was so lost, without the usual food and water in my feeding bowl which i was used to. As the days passed by, i knew i had to survive by myself cos i realized my owner has left me. =( But thankfully, i found a few friends who told me that it will be ok cos there are a few humans who come by this area to feed them, and that definitely they will feed me too. Ive spent many months at this carpark with my other friends and managed to find affection and love from many humans who feed me regularly. They all loved me, cos i was a giant compared to my other friends. 😄

However, one night, i was being chased by stray dogs. Thankfully, i managed to escape, but but it was such a traumatic experience. I didnt know living in the open was sooo dangerous. The pain i felt was unbearable. They charged at me, i didnt know what to do. I wanted to jump up on the car for safety, but i just couldnt. Im too heavy. I had to hide away for a few days, i was too weak to move. I came out from hiding after 4 days, and i went back to my norm place hoping my regular feeder would find me. Thank god, she did. Her mum managed to find a friend who could help bring me to the vet, where i stayed for 1 wk at Mt Pleasant Mandai. I heard them telling my feeder that i had suffered many wounds, one of which was a pretty bad one at my groin area. I had to be tube-fed. And after a week my feeder took me home.

I loved the safety i felt at home that night, my feeder said i slept like a baby. She tube-fed me and cleaned up my wounds.

But the nxt day,20th oct, i was brought to another vet, Cat Clinic, and Dr Geetha attended to me. My feeder wanted her to check on my condition cos many other humans on facebook recommended her to take me here. Dr Geetha cleaned my wounds and said that she wants me to stay in so that she could monitor me further.

Days wents by, i felt so sad cos all i want is to go home again.

My feeder told me that she will adopt me,but its important that i recover first. The tube that was inserted to feed me was really bothering me. It was so uncomfortable. I decided to pull it out myself. They then syringe-fed me.

My wounds are healing, drying up. But on 30th Oct, i came down with flu. My eyes were watery, and i drooled uncontrollably. It made me so miserable. 😷

I was so happy whenever my feeder came to visit me,but every time she does, i hoped that i could finally go home with her. Unfortunately, on 1st Nov, i overheard the doctor calling my feeder at 11pm saying that i had fever and that im still not eating on my own. I gag whenever they try to feed me,and dr ran a blood test on 31st oct. She told my feeder that my blood count was low, and that she will have to do a scan on fri, 3rd nov.

Frankly, im so tired staying at the vet. 1 week at Mt Pleasant and its now two weeks at Cat Clinic. . . And counting. I want to get better so that i can go home. Everytime my other friends at the clinic could be discharged, i felt so jealous of them. I know the bills are also getting more and more, as of 31st oct, it was $1400+ . I pity my feeder too, as i know my medical bills are nt cheap and could be a financial challenge on her part.

I am trying to recover the best that i can, and i hope that kind humans could also help me by helping my feeder too with my medical bills.

I thank the contributors so far for ur help, thank u for showing me that not all humans are as mean as my previous owner.

Please pray that my road to recovery goes smoothly so that i can go home. Thank u. 😙
