Comfortable Cancer

After an ongoing battle with melanoma my Grandma has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Within an hour of this diagnosis she has been discharged from hospital with "there is nothing we can do". Aunty Carole has been caring for Grandma, with trips from Gunnedah to Sydney and staying by her side every step of the way. This has been a huge financial burden on Aunty Carole, who receives no government support during the time Grandma is in hospital, which has been 3 weeks this time. The "nothing we can do" is something I am not prepared to take. I would like to raise enough funds to buy her a hospital bed so during the next few months she can be comfortable at home around family. The last thing Grandma wants is to die in a hospital, so I would like to do all I can to make sure that doesn't happen. Any additional funds raised will be to help pay for medications and hopefully allow Aunty Carole the financial freedom to not have to sell her car to pay for medical expenses. I am so happy I have relocated to Gunnedah to be near my Grandma and give her and my son time together. Our Great Grandma/ Grandma/ Mother deserves to be comfortable during these final moments of her life. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.
