Comedy For Care: “Stand-Up” Against Bullying

Good day educated citizen:

As I'm sure you are aware, bullying is a huge issue among teens, and it is an issue that, unfortunately, is showing no signs of slowing down, especially in our schools. For this reason, I have decided to put together a "Comedy For Care" night in my local community at a great venue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

This event will help raise awareness and feature a variety of comedians who will "stand-up" against bullying while a portion of the profit from the night will go to the great organization that is PACER (http://www.pacer.org/bullying). BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE, the money that is raised from the project, but not used for the show, will also go entirely to the PACER organization. The actual date of the event is TBD and can only happen if the money is raised. You're going to want to be there. 

Of course, as many do, this event will require a lot of support, awareness, and sadly for my wallet and unpaid internship, cash (venue, comedians, food, etc). Luckily, thanks to modern technology I have been able to push my idea one step closer to becoming a reality. I am hoping that this will encourage everyone to get involved in any way possible.
