Dining room to improve the nutrition of children and elderly people at social risk

Venezuela is currently experiencing one of the most difficult moments on a humanitarian level due to problems in its economy and political instability.

It is estimated that 5 million Venezuelans have left the country looking for a better future and to give their families a better quality of life.

Children have been left with their grandparents or relatives in their path while their parents seek shelter and job options to help with the economy and support their families.

For these children who have been left behind, their life is not the best, the feeding problems in their homes have meant that many do not have to feed themselves day by day, their need increases day by day with an economy every day in decline and daily some of these children and older adults die from lack of food.

During the time of COVID, the humanitarian problem increased, according to the survey by the NGO WORLD VISION, child labor increased by 20%, child begging by 28% and street sales increased by 19%.

It is under this Humanitarian Crisis that the SAYÛ Foundation plans to finance a dining room for CHILDREN AND OLDER ADULTS, in conjunction with the Local Church Mi Pequena Belén, in Venezuela, Carabobo State, Naguanagua Municipality. We appreciate all donations to reach the goal to create the dining room and purchase food.
