2014 Total Miles Completed
All Airlines: 68,392 American Airlines: 31,176I have been challenged to fly 100,000 miles this year. This is partly because of my love of travel and partly just because I like a challenge. Of course it will take a little cash to accomplish this. And since I am not independently rich, I need some travel aficionados to help me accomplish this goal. In return for your support I will provide the following incentives:
General reward: I will do meticulous updates to this campaign in as close to real-time as possible. I will post my secrets for getting great fares and will post all itineraries and fares that I book during the course of this challenge. I will also post any fares that I might see of interest even if I do not book them for myself. We will be travelling the world together and hopefully you will benefit from my experiences.
Travel reward #1: Once the goal of $10,000 is reached, the highest donor will receive a $1,000 American or United Airlines gift card (donor’s choice). The 2nd highest donor will receive a $200 Southwest Airlines gift card good towards travel on Southwest. Non USA donors will receive a cash equivalent.
Travel reward #2: If the goal of $10,000 is doubled ($20,000), the highest donor will receive a $2,000 American or United Airlines gift card (donor’s choice) and the 2nd highest donor will receive two $200 Southwest Airlines gift cards ($400.00 value). Non USA donors will receive a cash equivalent.
