Colour Splash Cancer Run

Raising Funds to assist our immediate community who has been affected by cancer. We help families pay much needed medical bills and would like to extend to buying groceries and food. We also assist the hospitals and patients with basic needs such as shampoos, soaps, diapers, sanitary wear, linen saver etc.

Added to this we visit the patients in hospitals giving them blankets, having teas and to show them that generally care. A lot of organisations raise funds for cancer to create awareness and to go towards studying the disease. While this is most important, we have recognized the fact that the community directly affected by this dreaded disease are not really benefiting from this.

Cancer does not choose race, language, age or status. We have seen families that have had it all, and then lost it all because the main breadwinner fights and sometimes even loses the fight, leaving the families in the lurch. We have seen the poor get even poorer and even homeless.

We want to be on the ground, and raise funds, and get our hand dirty while the other organisations fight it on higher levels. We work with the community, for the community. We ask you to help us do that.
