Campaign Story
We are Colour Away Covid - a student led initiative that aims to donate 100,000 masks to those in need. We’re envisioning a world where all youth have access to quality masks, empower each other and use creativity to help their community during difficult times.
Your donations will be going to providing masks to charities including Hands on Hong Kong, SoCo and Children’s Kidney Fund. Masks are indispensable items to them as many of their beneficiaries need to regularly change their masks and require medical grade protection. It is simply not convenient for them to frequently clean reusable masks provided by the HK government.
Our initiative was inspired after a friend contracted COVID-19 as a young adult and had a difficult recovery despite being young a healthy. This is why we strong believe in the importance of our protecting our youth, as well as the idea of youth empowering youth.
