Hi friends and family!

On May 18, 2013, I will be participating in the Color Me Rad 5K run to raise funds for a medical mission trip to Haiti this summer.

This June 9-15, my classmates and I will be traveling to Haiti to run a medical clinic in a small village. We will be administering vaccinations, cleaning wounds, and providing first aid care to the locals who do not have the means to see a physician. Being a poor medical student with an insurmountable amount of debt, I would greatly appreciate if you could provide support to this cause. This opportunity will not only help me to apply my medical knowledge thus far, but will also help me to grow as a medical student and as a future healthcare provider.

The total for this trip will be $1600 including airfare and fees. Every cent that is donated will go towards the campaign, and any extra funds that are donated will go towards buying medical supplies or towards funding another participant of the medical mission trip.
