My Story
My love of film started at a very young age, going to the theaters with my grandparents and finding that I was not drawn to acting like most children my age who dream of becoming famous celebrities. My fascination with cinema was rooted more behind the camera, enthralled with the notion that the deliverance of a story was a careful combination of so many elements woven together. Academically I have always been an overachiever, I graduated in May 2012 at the age of sixteen and immediately enrolled in junior college to get my general education out of the way, I will be entering Drexel University in fall of 2014 as a second semester sophomore at the age of 18. I have been awarded scholarships for my success but unfortunately it is not enough to fully cover the costs of my attendance, and I am searching for alternative pay methods other than the dreaded student loan.

Interests, Sports, Extracurricular Activities
I write extensively, I participate in National November Writer's Month yearly and have met my goal 3 out of the 5 times, I watch and analyze film as well as run a blog that provides insight and exposure to popular culture and I frequently contribute to social rights issues such as those currently brewing within the LGBTQA* community and consider myself an avid feminist.

Your donation helps me pay for:
Due to the fact that I live in Southern California I cannot stay with family during the school year (Drexel is located in Philly) and I will need to pay for dorms as well as meal plans. With my FAFSA processed I should qualify for work study and I will opt for half of my wages to go towards chipping away at my tuition (or maybe I could arrange for half of my wages to be repaid to my investors should they chose to). I also am seeking out more scholarships to help pay for my tuition.

Graduation goals
Graduate in two and a half/three years with a Bachelor's specializing in technical and production aspects of Film, more specifically cinematography as well as the certification in order for me to work in the industry.
