College Trip

Hello, my name is Christina, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I'm a student at tha Law Faculty, of Greece. Things here with the university, and with everything, are awful, there is an economical crisis, for which I'm sure you're aware, the colleges are on strike, for almost two months now. The situation, is really discouraging. My college, or at least, a few students, myself included, decided to take part to NMUN. It's like a seminar, or a conference, in which students from many places of the world, come together, to discuss current global issues, on twenty commitees.

I believe such thing, would be a massive opportunity for me. I would learn a lot, and it could possibly open up, opportunities, in the future. And also getting to finally see NYC is a massive plus.

I'm asking your help to raise the money, because as mentioned earlier, things here are really rough. My dad, he's not around, and he barely helps us, and when he does, it's barely anything. And my mom, she has given so many for me, that I can't ask for more. Ever since I was three months old, when I flew to London for a heart surgery, she has been paying doctors, medical bills, and everything, and as much as she wants to help right now, she's unemployed and a retired person, who hasn't gotten her retirement yet, so it's really hard.

My college, is taking part into a conference in NYC, we are representing our country in that conference. I took part in it, and will attend the conference, but also I would like to be able to look around NYC. It's an once in a lifetime opportunity, and with the economical crisis here, and unemployment it's hard to raise money on my own. I have some savings, and my family are helping me as much as they can, but it's really hard, and I really wanna go. So it would mean the absolute world, if you could help me raise, an amount of money. Maybe it won't be that big, but it will make more of a difference than you know.

I'm trying to get a job, and also I'm selling a lot of my things, on my effort to raise money, because being able to make this trip, means the world to me, and it would really open up great opportunities, for me, in the future.
