College is my dream. Make it come true.

Hello! 

  My name is Tim. I am the youngest boy of a family of 9 (4 sisters, 2 brothers). Parents are still happily married living in Missouri, the rest of my family is spread out all over the US. 

  I've moved all over the place, rarely ever living in the same place for more than a year. Shortly after I turned 27 this year in January, I found myself wondering where I was going with my life and what I was doing.  

  My focus the past 2 1/2 years had been my weight loss. I use to weigh close to 400 LBS in April 2012. I am happy to say that I am down to 240 LBS as of this past week and still going strong. 

  I've always wanted to go to college but never made that step. I believe it was because I didn't know what I wanted to do, or perhaps I was scared, but with a little help, I made the necessary steps and am finally on my way to achieving my goals and ultimately success and happiness.

Hobbies/Interests;

-My favorite sports are soccer and football,

-I have a passion for computers and technology as a whole,

-I take Karate and am currently a Yellow belt,

-I believe that Video Games is an art. The graphical and musical entities in many games are extremely beautiful. I enjoy playing them, not only for entertainment, but for the experience,

-I love music too, my passion for music is in the soundtracks of many games, but I enjoy almost all types of genres.

Goals / Plans; 

  My current goals for college is to keep focused, work hard and shoot for a GPA of 4.0+.   Since I did not experience everything High School had to offer, I wish to do it in college. I will be joining several clubs, student government and student newspaper to gain as much experience as I can. I want to get the most out of my college experience and I intend to do so.  

  After graduating with a 4 year degree, I will pursue my Master's in the same degree. I am aiming high, but I wish to use this degree to obtain a career in the Video Game industry. A massive global market that continues to grow.

Finances / Background; 

  I have very good credit going into college with little debt left. Although only a little in savings due to moving recently and preparation for college.

  My goals are to save as much as possible and cut what I can from my budget that seem unnecessary. e.g. cancel Planet Fitness to use College's free gym ect.  

  Should specifics be needed, I would be more than willing to make a detailed list of everything, but as of right now, my current bills after budgets cuts are close to 1600/month to pay bills
