College iPad or a big screen phone

I have finally enrolled in this college after spending the last 2.5 years collecting money for my tuition and I start next Sunday the 15th.

My problem is the studying material is all on the internet on the college's site and not on actual books or paper (I mean it's the 21st century so why not), my issue is I cannot read or study on my phone as it doesn't have a big screen nor good quality pixels, so if I could get even a tablet or anything with a decent screen that I would be able to study from that would be great.
