College & Business Funding

I will be direct and honest with you.  

I am a 30 year old recovering alcoholic. I have finally sobered up and decided to go to college, but the program I'm interested in requires an out-of-state college. So I have decided to put what little I have into getting there and focusing entirely on my education. I am currently in the middle of selling everything I own to raise the money, but I will only come up with a couple thousand dollars. Anything I could get to help would be immeasurably appreciated. Even something as little as 10 dollars for gas to get me out there.  

My goal is to attend college and vigorously pursue learning everything I can while there. Once I have enough knowledge base I will be using my spare time to create a low-overhead business making indie games (which, if there is miraculously leftover funding money I will be using). I hope to be finished with my first game in three years, assuming it takes me the two years to get my A.A.S. If I am successful enough with my game and company, I plan to start a charitable foundation (starting with private funding from my own company) to help integrate ex-convicts back into society by helping with housing and job availability. It's hard to lay out my dream, but it is a big one, and I feel very passionate about it despite how crazy it might sound.  

After all the nonsense I've been through I feel like I've gotten a second chance. And if I can get a little nudge to help me along, I'd be honored to give a lot more people a nudge to help them get their second chance. And if you're not interested, thanks for taking the time anyway.
