College and life expenses

My dad is the only one that works in my household,

and he has a mortgages he has to pay, so at the end of every month our family runs out of cash

(it's spent on food,clothes if needed,bills) so we borrow money from friends.
I am starting college this year, and would really be thankful for every cent that I get, because it helps a lot.
