ABOUT SE BAILA DANZA TRADICIONAL VENEZOLANA

Venezuela, in all its territorial extension, constitutes a cultural mix in which each of its inhabitants represents the spitting image of their traditions and practices inciting to preserve and disseminate what they are. Worshipping, safeguarding and quickening its idiosyncrasies through powerful festivities which are preserved and reproduced due to fervor, religious and membership, people use their cultural events: singing, music, clothing, imagery and dance, the essence of their legends, their land and their own existence.

Se Baila Danza Tradicional Venezolana arises from the need to formalize the creation of a collective focused on research, divulgation and projection from the point of view of dance, the traditions, noting with concern the way , those who ignore expressions of traditional roots or who take advantage of ignorance to detract, disrespect the passion and dedication expressed in each celebration.

The group of dancers of Venezuelan Traditional Dance consists of young people with great interest in the traditional and popular customs who at the sensation of ignorance and apathy, decided to create a space that encourages interest towards search and exchange of knowledge, either via dialogue, research or intervention and action on the Venezuelan traditional customs.

The collective is composed of young people who have worked as dancers, students, teachers, directors of groups and researchers in the field of traditional Venezuelan dances, from an early age and have made it a way of life .

The work being done is gone brewing over more than a decade of constant research, training and capacity to put in practice and disseminate knowledge acquired in the classroom and in the field, and project them faithfully and harmoniously in a scenic space.

However, it is now when, after years of continuous activity, in the imperative need of permanent learning and transmission of knowledge to the population, especially children and youth, its members have decided to formalize the group, giving step to a long lasting work and allowing the construction of a generation of leaders interested in preserving the identity of Venezuelan inside and outside the national.

 

COLLECTIVE DOCUMENTATION CENTER

Create a space for analysis, review and reflection on popular culture, fueled by the physical and intellectual contributions of its visitors, with the main objective to generate collective knowledge through the exchange of knowledge.

 

Prints Section 

Keep up to date a collection of books, journals and special publications of general consultation, with direct connection to popular culture in all its expressions, as well as periodicals including press reviews, infographics, magazines of individual and collective events, etc.

This section is responsible for the collection, protection and preservation of the material.

The material may leave the DCC through a specially designed system for it to limit the number of days and sanctions; can rely on web tools for control.

Resources:

? Reception space with PC computer with Internet connection for the personnel.

? Room with shelves and furniture.

? Warehouse space.

 

Audiovisual Section

Create a digital space for consultation through a web portal with audiovisual materials (videos, photos, discography and multimedia material in general) supported in recording studios, public and private institutions (Cendis “National Disk Center”) and independent producers, among others.

Includes a space for digital consultation within the DCC equipped with wireless network and Tablet like computers.

The material will be free for download, however to get access to it, the user must be registered at the site with at least one input of significant value. Such contributions shall be subject to consideration of a trained web administrator who will decide the number of megabytes that the user can download according to the value of the contribution made.

Resources:

• Adequate space with wireless network with internet access and tablets like equipment.
• Workspace for Webmaster equipped with PC of High Performance.

 

Exhibition Section

Provides an enclosed space for the sample of physical and / or digital artwork, hand in hand with the festive calendar as a platform to musicians, dancers, photographers, artists, consolidated or not, whose work is linked directly to the objectives set by the DCC.

This section is responsible for programming, protection and preservation of samples.

Consider a visual element, external to the building, to establish a direct connection to what happens within the DCC, including the quarterly program of activities.

Disclosure Section 

It will be an administrative section responsible for programming, production, dissemination and implementation of DCC activities including workshops, forums, talks, lectures.

Arrange for artwork design, to maintain constantly updated social networks and liaise with other institutions for the promotion of the activities.

In support of the Prints Section, this will serve as a link with other public and private institutions, newspaper subscriptions and printed magazines.

This section may perform a space for the sale of POP material that allows the self-sustainability of the DCC.

? Space for sale.

 

EN ESPAÑOL

 

Centro de Documentación Colectiva

Crear un espacio para el análisis, crítica y reflexión en torno a la cultura popular, alimentado por los aportes físicos e intelectuales de sus visitantes, teniendo como objetivo principal la generación de conocimiento colectivo a través del intercambio de saberes.

 

Sección de Impresos

Mantener actualizada una colección de libros, revistas y publicaciones especiales de consulta general, con relación directa a la cultura popular en todas sus expresiones, así como una hemeroteca que incluya reseñas periodísticas, infografías, encartados de manifestaciones individuales y colectivas, etc.

Esta sección se encargará de la recopilación, resguardo y conservación del material.

El material podrá salir del CDC a través de un sistema diseñado especialmente para ello con número de días límite y sanciones, podrá apoyarse en herramientas web para su control.

Recursos:

• Espacio de recepción con equipo PC con conexión a Internet para personal encargado.

• Espacio con estantes, con mesas y sillas.

• Espacio de almacén.

 

Sección Audiovisual

Crear un espacio de consulta digital a través de un portal web con materiales audiovisuales (videos, fotografías, discografía y material multimedia en general) apoyados en estudios de grabación, instituciones públicas (Cendis) y privadas, productores independientes, entre otros.

Incluye un espacio de consulta digital dentro del CDC equipado con red de conexión inalámbrica y equipos tipo Tablet.

El material será de libre descarga, sin embargo para tener acceso debe ser un usuario registrado en el portal con al menos un aporte de valor significativo. Dichos aportes serán sometidos a consideración de un administrador web capacitado, quien decidirá el número de megas que podrá descargar dicho usuario de acuerdo al valor del aporte realizado.

• Espacio adecuado con Red inalámbrica con conexión a internet y equipos tipo Tablets.

• Espacio de trabajo para Webmaster equipado con PC de Alto Rendimiento

 

Sección de Exposiciones

Proveer un espacio acotado para la muestra de trabajos artísticos físicos y/o digitales, de la mano con el calendario festivo que sirva de plataforma a músicos, bailadores, fotógrafos, artistas plásticos, consolidados o no, cuyo trabajo se vincule directamente con los objetivos planteados por el CDC.

Esta sección se encargará de la programación, resguardo y conservación de las muestras.

Considerar un elemento visual externo al edificio que establezca conexión directa con lo que sucede dentro del CDC, incluida la programación trimestral de sus actividades.

• Valla externa

• Espacio de Depósito.

 

Sección de Divulgación

Será una sección administrativa que se encargará de la programación, producción, divulgación y ejecución de las actividades del CDC incluidos talleres, foros, conversatorios, charlas.

Se encargará de diseñar material gráfico para mantener en constante actualización las redes sociales y servirá de enlace con otras instituciones para la promoción de nuestras actividades.

En apoyo a la Sección de Impresos ésta sección establecerá enlaces con otras instituciones públicas y privadas, para suscripciones de periódicos y revistas impresas.

Esta sección podrá encargarse de un espacio para la venta de material POP que permita la auto-sustentabilidad del CDC.

• Espacio acondicionado para talleres, foros, charlas y conversatorios.

• Espacio administrativo equipado con PC´s de Alto Rendimiento.

• Espacio para venta.

 

Estructura Organizativa 

Se propone la creación de una junta directiva quienes serán los encargados de tomar las decisiones finales respecto a las propuestas presentadas por cada unidad, así como de la administración de los recursos humanos, financieros y bienes materiales, tomando en consideración el alcance de los objetivos planteados.

A pesar de la JD, prevalecerá la horizontalidad respetando las decisiones colectiva por encima de las individuales.
