"Colin the Crocodile" is the first bedtime story created by my husband Neil Johnson when he got bored reading the same stories to our toddler daughter, Jasmine. Being a writer has been my husband's dream and for his 40th birthday, I helped to realise his dream and published "Colin the Crocodile" with the help of fantastic editing from my friend, Jan Clatworthy. The book, aimed at toddlers and young children (age 3-8), teaches children that looks can be deceiving, that bravery is often found in the most unusual places and in the power of doing good deeds.
Neil would like to dedicate "Colin the Crocodile" to help underprivileged children around the world to be educated and empowered. All profits of the first print will be donated to Developments in Literacy, a charity which operates and manages schools in remote provinces in Pakistan. Our target is to raise HKD20,000 (~USD2,500) in this campaign which will sponsor a classroom for a whole year.
For every donation of HKD150 or USD20 (worldwide postage inclusive), you will receive a hardcover copy of "Colin the Crocodile". If you would like to order more than one copy, please support in the multiples of HKD150 (e.g. HKD750 for 5 copies). Kindly send us your postal address and let us know if you would like each of the books to be autographed or a personalised message to be written on the book.
