Cole cares about balls, and you should too! Help us get the ball rolling this Movember as he tries to raise money to help with all things testicular cancer. In his own words:
"Cancer has had a huge impact on my family. Many of my loved ones have been taken away from me because of it. Most recently, my cousin who was only a few months younger than me died from cancer. I had always thought of cancer as something that only affected older people. This incident brought to light the fact that anyone at any age is vulnerable. When I learned about the OneBall campaign, I did some research on testicular cancer, and learned it generally affects younger people, and that I am vulnerable to it. I am joining the OneBall campaign to help spread awareness about testicular cancer, so that younger individuals can learn the risks and symptoms."
Oneball is an Alberta based, volunteer run, testicular cancer charity. We're not your typical cancer charity, and we are, in a word, ballsy! Since 2008 we’ve been using humor and fun events to help shatter the stigma around men talking about their health. We’ve funded life changing research, are helping patients pay the over $6,000 of expenses not covered by our health care, and provide critical information in a relatable way – like talking to a friend. For more info, visit www.oneball.ca.
Donations over $20 will be eligible for a tax receipt!
