This is Amita here from Colaba, a section of Mumbai, India.
I feed some 30 to 40 cats in my area with my mom who started the idea 10 years ago. Now I am continuing with the effort because I belong to middle class family where my dad is a driver and my mom is a housewife but her health is not currently well. I work in a small organization where I earn 3,300 USD yearly and I have three my cats of my own. We give the neighborhood cats boiled fish and rice. In my area, no one feeds them so I feed them one time at night. We have now opened a group called Colaba Animal Group where a few animal lovers from different areas feed the animals.
Through your help, we would like to grow our organization so we can help more animals in need. The funds would go towards veterinary bills, spaying/neutering, shelter, and food for the cats. The biggest problem is that the veterinarian is not available at night so we have to wait until morning to take a sick animal to the doctor. If we can get help, we can work for a shelter in the suburb and most importantly each animals will be neutered or spayed.
Thank you for your help and know that any funds donated will directly benefit an animal who might otherwise suffer.
Rest In Peace Rinky
