We are a team of volunteers from different countries, three from Europe and two from Bolivia. We met in Potosí - Bolivia, which is a small city, the highest in the world. The region is the poorest in South-America.

We saw that there is a lack of education and that the people are introvert, closed-minded and have little respect. It is difficult to get the attention of the adults, but we can influence the children. We want to help the children to develop their creativity, self-estime and personal values. That way we can begin to make a change and motivate the children to open their minds.

We try to help the children in learning personal values by doing different activities every afternoon. Some activities are foreign languages, drama, sport,... We found that the children are more interested in learning values if we presented them as superpowers in real life.

A few months ago we did a tryoutfor free. The tryout lasted two weeks and had only a few children. It was a big succes. We saw that the children became everything we wanted them to become. The parents were very enthousiastic. This tryout cost us a lot of money. We were planning to continue the project, but to let the parents pay for the material cost. The parents weren't interested in paying. They didn't see the need and  hadn't seen something like this before. We realised that we had to do it for free.

For doing these activities with the children we need a room and materials. These don't cost much but we can't keep doing the project without financial aid.

We hope that you can help us.
