Clothes in time for Christmas!

$500 needed to supply 30 children with clothes and other supplies.

Greetings! My name is Scott and I am raising money for a brother in Christ, Khuram Masih, who runs a spirit-led ministry and Sunday school in Gojra, Pakistan. Khuram's life mission is to serve the people around him and bring them the good news of Jesus Christ. He is a devout family man and a conscientious steward who puts others needs first. He lives in humble circumstances, often provides supplies for the children he teaches and pays the wages of multiple Sunday school teachers out of pocket. But this is a poverty-stricken area where these children often do not have enough clothing, food and other necessities for daily life. So Khuram has reached out in faith for assistance...

Materials needed

This holiday season, we are looking to raise $500 by December 15th. This way Khuram can supply 30 children with clothing as a gift to them on December 17th.

However, we are not limited to $500, so any additional funding raised will be put into materials such as clothing, food and possibly some gifts and sweets for the holidays!

Logistics

I am raising the money on behalf of Khuram because he does not have access to people and resources needed to do it on his own. I will be able to safely collect the funds from GoGetFunding's eWallet and I will transfer the money to Khuram through Western Union. I've often sent money this way to ministries in Pakistan safely and expediently.

My Story

My name is Scott Pakstis and since being saved by Jesus Christ in 2015, my life's mission has become to follow Christ where he leads me. We all have a God-given desire to help one another and to give sacrificially. With the Holy Spirit leading the way, anything is possible. In about two years of ministry work at home and supporting ministries in Pakistan, I have learned that there is tremendous faith and kindness on the streets. Children such as these are thankful for everything they receive and they are some of the boldest prayer warriors you can find. They pray for me and my family daily.

God has willed that I take this step on behalf of Khuram and the children he looks after. I do not have the means to give what is needed, so this is an open door for more people to hear God's call.

We all want you to know the joy that God has in store for anyone who follows Him. We cannot be redeemed by good works, but we do experience God's blessings when we follow Him. There are many verses in the Bible telling us to look after one another and to pursue good works. Khuram has reminded me of Revelation 22:14 numerous times:

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
