Closed Mouth Friend

Thank you for looking at my campaign. Closed Mouth Friend is an alternative to traditional therapy while keeping the cost affordable. This is my first attempt with a campaign so I will do my best.

I started this business with one goal in mind. To help others! As an example here in Colorado you need a Bachelors degree in order to work at detox. Yet these people cannot help the person trying to quit Alcohol or Drugs. Opiates have become the drug of choice here and we have people dying on our streets every day! I could cite more more facts but the question is.... what are we going to do about it?

I am not a therapist but I have been through life's trials. Being in recovery and a native of Colorado I find that our crisis is partly my responsibility. I would go get my degree but Colorado does not have 4 years to wait for me. My concept here is simple. You come to my office and have either a CBD or Happy Coffee/Hot Chocolate. Both raise our natural endorphins and after that we talk for an hour. The cost is $50 which is affordable compared to traditional therapy. I do have a background in Mental Health. I was the youngest person to obtain their CAC at the age of 19. I have received multiple awards for prevention. With this I am very empathetic and easy to talk to. I have helped 100s of people get sober or just better their lives. How? With my own experience. Something a degree will never teach you.

I have come back from being homeless twice and I have battled with PTSD. Anxiety and depression love to sneak their way into my everyday life but I have found a way to live free. It is no big secret, just how we can work through our problems and it is time for me to pass that on.

With that being said I need to show you the big picture here. It does not just end with me, that is just the beginning. I may have a lot of life's answers but I do not have them all. Though I am starting with just myself in one office the goal is to have 4-5 Closed Mouth Friends on site. You come in for an intake for free and then I place you with the appropriate person. The goal is to have clients become Closed Mouth Friend. I found the best way to help yourself is by helping others. After you have done the work that is.

So were is the money going to go? Well I do not have much over head in this business. Just everyday things such as printer ink. Other than that it is pretty much rent and products that I offer. Making sure I have a secure and copious way to take notes is the most important.

Average reasonable rent is $400 a month. I would like to have 6 months paid in advance so I can focus on building the business. The product comes in 30 doses for each. Between the product, rent and sales tax license it puts it at a grand total of $2965.00. But Dion you still need other miscellaneous things like a couch. I do have about $1000 of my own that I am putting in myself. I have helped run several business's and it is time I run my own while helping others. Thank you again for your time.
