Climbing Snowdon for Palestine

To you, the potential donater, 

I am off to the Palestine along with 25 others from Liverpool Hope University on August 28th for 2 weeks and I want to raise some money to take with us and I need your help!! In honour of this I will be walking up the infamous and formidable Mount Snowdon in Wales (or mount doom as It should be called). My amazing team of walkers will be by my side: Deb, Rachel and Jo :). 

So I bet you are asking why you should donate? Well here's why!: We will mostly be based in Tulkarm which is on the west bank and whilst there we will visit various sites and areas that are currently under conflict with the Isreali forces. We will be visiting a number of refugee camps which exist because Isreali forces have constructed a large security wall cutting off palestinians from their farmlands and homes. We will visit and help out with organisations that provide relief and assistance to struggling palestinian families, as well as organisations engaged with activist work. 50% of the money raised will go to a women's project and the other 50% will be used by families to support their children's education (as you can probably imagine, this is a real struggle!). Many palestinian people are in need, and this is as good a reason as any to help them!

... If that isn't enough to convince you to donate, then just picture me climbing the mountain, with my short legs and tiny strides, (which will probably will take around 7 hours knowing me)... surely this deserves a donation of encouragement!! Please Please Please dig deep and donate if and what you can, I would really really appreciate it, and I'm sure the palestinain people would too :)
