- After years of contemplation and rigorous research, I have decided to take the plunge and take on what will be the biggest, most gruelling challenge in my 30 years on this planet...... I will be climbing Kilimanjaro!
I am an African, and am proud to be African. The blood of Africa runs through my veins and I would like to dedicate this climb and all the funds raised to nature. To the voices that cannot be heard but their presence is what makes Africa unique, special and a once in a lifetime experience for those who step foot on the soil! I have always been passionate about animals, from small hedgehogs to the massive Whale Sharks that caress the ocean waters. And that is why it is imperative that we conserve, educate and give these amazing creatures a voice and a safe place to wander, eat and breed so I can one day show my future children and their children the beauty of the continent I am so fortunate to hail from.
Born to Fly is an organisation that aims to save Africa's Wildlife through education. One community at a time. And besides the funds needed to make this trip happen, all proceeds over and above will go to this amazing organisation that was set up in memory of Roger Gower , a helicopter pilot from the UK, who was shot by poachers in Tanzania. He died protecting those unheard voices.
In September 2020, at 5,895 m, I intend to channel my passion for my homeland and reach Uhuru peak, the summit of the highest mountain in Africa to give back to the land the way Roger did.
Any donation would mean not only so much to me, but to the team at Born to Fly and the family of Roger for his memory and dedication to live on for many decades to come.
Please follow my Facebook page, as I intend to keep everyone updated on my training progress both body and mind and it would be amazing to have your support and words of encouragement of making this dream a reality.

for he has so much to look forward to....”
