Climbing for a Reason

Climbing for a Reason is a non-profit project that seeks to turn low-income local people in different parts of the world into climbers of their own rocks.

To achieve this, Climbing for a Reason twice a year travels to differents points of the world and builds an artificial wall in a school or public place in those towns, equips a rock climbing area, provides initiation and safety workshops for climbing on the artificial wall/natural rock and in turn donates all the necessary equipment for the future practice of the community.

We firmly believe that sport is an agent of change and many people in the world deserve the opportunity to practice it freely.

Help us to keep these projects going, to teach children to be passionate about healthy living and to give them great future job opportunities in sports and outdoors in their own villages.
