Climb for the Wild! Join us at the Gibraltar Climbing Association Climbing wall at the Leisure Centre on Saturday 12th Decem for a 12 hour Wild Climbing challenge. Our crazy trustee and Barefoot Adventurer, JJ will be attempting to climb for 12 hours, to raise funds for the wild.
Our new charity, Whole Wild World, is raising funds for our foundation rewilding site in the Algarve. This 210 hectare area (the same size as the Gibraltar Nature Reserve) will be restored, allowing native species to thrive again. Wild, endangered Sorraia horses will be released to roam the land, working their magic as natures fire officers, reducing dry scrub and helping to create optimum conditions for other species to thrive, such as the endangered European rabbit, a primary source of food for the Critically Endangered Iberian lynx
You can help by getting involved on the day. Come and climb alongside JJ on the day and help to raise funds. Donate here to safeguard a 'Patch of Wild' saving native species and helping to stop climate change.
The UN's Decade of Ecosystem Restoration is nigh, rewilding offers hope for the planet. Join us and help to make the world whole and wild again..
