Clemi l dance class

Hello friend’s families and strangers reading this story my name is Clementina, I and my friend we strive to provide CLEMI DANCE CLASS. students with every opportunity to become great dancers and learning more about world cultural dance and advocates for themselves and for others. This year, we are piloting an innovative dancing program to reach a group of students that faces particular barriers to this goal: young boys of color who present with behavioral and emotional issues. These boys and girls deserve an opportunity to focus their energy and learn leadership also as part of exercise, and also to work with a mentor who provides an example of who they can become.

Currently, we have 6 girls and 4 boys participating with a volunteer mentor, and they have shown great improvement already in positive social skills, and a stronger desire to come to school and enjoy themselves!

We urgently need $100,000 to help fund this innovative program, specifically to help us purchase uniforms, other cultural dance equipment, pay a professional dancing mentor, and cover operational costs. As a thank you we will perform for everyone that supported us in this campaign.
