Clean Up Pretty Bay

We want to make a difference in Malta and we want to change our and your environment, by cleaning it up. Noticing the Beach at Pretty Bay in Birżebuggia is quite dirty, we decided to clean it before it lands in the sea, destroying our environment even more.

We, that are nine German Red Cross (DRK) Volunteers in Malta. We are currently volunteering in Malta in Organisations such as Inspire, SOS Malta, Bright Sparks Childcare Centre and CCIF Malta.

We are planning to clean up the beach at Pretty Bay in Birżebuggia. We will start at 9am until it is clean again. Therefore we need your support.

The event is part of a fundraiser for the German Red Cross since our volunteering costs (eg. accommodation, insurance and further living costs) are covered by them. They are part-financed but still rely on donations to keep the programme available for everyone no matter their background. The voluntary service is a great opportunity to explore new countries and have an intercultural exchange.

You would support cleaning up the environment as well as help the German Red Cross volunteers making a difference in Malta.
