Claudia’s only wish is to become a doctor and help others. Will you help her?

My best friend, Claudia, is my soulmate and I love her so much. She is the most wonderful person I've ever met. Ever so kind, always puts others first, always helpful and thoughtful. She is a medicine student on her last year, planning to become a neurosurgeon. Her life passion and mission is to help other people. Sadly, she has recently experienced something no one should experience so early on in life.

Her beloved Dad has been suffering from viral hepatitis for the last two years and she has been doing all she could to help and save him. She really did do her very best in reaching out to all possible doctors and researching all possible solutions.

It turned out that the only solution was a liver transplant, an operation that not every patient can have, and some of them need to wait for it long months, sometimes years. The last few months were full of hope, when it turned out that her Dad will have a chance for a transplant and for a new life. These months were full of hope and every day was like a waiting room, full of anticipation, hope and anxiety. Her Dad was in a very bad state and every day was a fight to survive.

Finally, the great news arrived - there is a liver donor for her Dad, her Dad will live. There were tears of relief, of joy, of gratefulness. The transplantation went well, her Dad was feeling better day by day. The liver was working well, everything was going to be alright. Claudia was so happy, I called her after the operation and she was crying of happiness, of relief.Her Dad was her hero, she was his little girl and she could not imagine her life without him. He had so many plans and dreams. He was going to returne home in a couple of days. And then it happened. 9 days after operation, her Dad died in the hospital. Just like that. The doctors could not give the medical reason for it. The liver was working well. But the heart stopped. It just stopped, without any warning. Her Dad was gone in a heartbit. Claudia's world fell apart. She will never see her Dad again, he will never see her getting married, having kids, he will never hold her hand again. She was devastated. And still is, trying to push through day by day, and support her mom and little sister the best she can.

The reason I created this campaign is because Claudia is on her last year of medicine at Medical University in Poland, and her Dad was the one who was supporting financially her studies. Now he is gone, she not only is suffering deep sadness and bereavement, but also she is no longer able to support the last year of her medical studies. The situation in her family is very difficult (her Dad was the only one providing for the family) and the medical fees are just one of many financial issues, but helping her overcome it is the least I can do. Her Dad was such a sweet and kind Father, and he really did his best to support Claudia medical studies, because he loved her and knew it was always her dream to become a doctor. This is the final year and I believe that if everyone who reads this gives Claudia a tiny donation, she will be able to make this dream come true. She will be able to save thousands of people and help thousands of families in the future. And will make her Dad proud.
