Campaign Story
Hi Everyone....some of you know me as mummy to Matthew (year 2/3) and Maddie (year R/1), others will know me by sight from school pick-up. Most of you probably don't know me at all, but I'm Kate and I'm a reasonably active 38 year old mum of three. Over the last three years, I've seen how much my children have grown and developed since starting at Clatford, seen how happy they are to go to school each day, seen the care and respect they are given by staff and other children, and seen how welcomed everyone is each day....and I want to give something back. So in my wiseness (madness??) I've decided to complete a bit of a challange....so on the 30th August at 11am, I will be undertaking a 14k Nuts Challenge. Its basically 14k of running, mud, gruelling obstacles (about 100 per 7k!) and body bashing toughness. And I'm doing it for Clatford School. If you want to take a look at what I am in for, have a look at this....http://www.thenutschallenge.co.uk/ So here's where you come in.....I'm asking every parent of Clatford pupils, past and present, to sponsor me just £1 each, with the aim of raising at least £100 for Clatford School. I am very sure the school will put any funds raised to good use, but the more we raise, the better....so of course, if you'd like to support a little more, then I am sure neither the school or the pupils won't complain....after all, it'll benefit each and every one of them. So please, please support me and together we can help the education of our children, both current and future. If you prefer not to make payments via paypal, then donations can also be handed in at the school office, please just mark them as 'Kate's Nuts Run'. Thank you in advance for your support, see you all in September! Kate x

Update posted by clatfo at 09:52 amOk, so we expected the course to take about 2-3 hours, but in reality it was FAR tougher than expected and took what felt like forever!! BUT we completed it, and managed a fairly respectable 5 HOURS & 13 MINUTES!!! We have swum through thick mud, climbed a variety of. . . . .
