Classroom Teaching Supplies for 2nd Grade

I am a 2nd grade elementary school teacher in Taiwan. My students learn all subjects in English, including Science, Math and English Language Arts. Not all students have the same English abilities and many can easily fall behind without the right supplemental language support. My classroom is in need of your help.

I would like my students to have access to the right materials they need to succeed at all learning levels. I am raising money to fund the learning materials needed for learning stations in my classroom.

- Reading Comprehension Library: Students can self learn through reading and literacy activities as well as in groups. This will give students access to quality leveled English readers that will supplement their coursework. It will help slower readers build the reading skills they need to catch up and succeed.

- Phonics and Language Learning Station: Students will be able to self learn through various activities as well as in groups. This will give students access to phonics practice games and activities as well as phonics readers. It will help lower level students build their ability to sound out words have less trouble when reading.

- Grammar and Writing Learning Station: Students will be able to self learn through various activities as well as in groups. Writing supplies are a constant need. This station will engage students with writing in a more environmentally friendly way with dry erase writing activities and games. It turns writing into a fun activity. Building interest and desire to express themselves through writing is so important.
