Help Build a Classroom for the Mangyans

Hello, I am May! I am regular employee who goes to work daily, I have no special talent or notable awards. Last year, along with my friends, we visited the Island of Mindoro. A teacher named Maam Alice from the Island of Mindoro reached out to me and my friends asking for some learning materials for the Native Mangyans she is currently teaching. The school is located Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro, where you need to cross the river to reach the place have atleast more than a hundred pupils. That time we were able to happily supply them of what Maam Alice requested.

This time Maam Alice have another request. She wish to build a classroom for another Native Mangyan she is supervising along with the first one we have supplied the learning materials to. Currently, Eleuterio Soriano Elementary School, have an enrollment of 325 students from Kinder to Grade 6. They share one (1) dipilated classroom that have limited learning materials and furnitures for the students to use.

Just last year in the hopes to fulfill what is lacking, some of the local teachers started to contribute their own hard earned money to build a more stable place of learning for the students but due to their own financial shortage that dream has to be postponed.

Inspired by Maam Alice's dedication as a teacher, we conducted an estimation of how much the cost of a simple building will require. We have arrived at the amount of Php 50,000.00 at a minimum. Buildings are costly but we believe that education is more valuable. Every cent will go to the raising of the classroom with the knowledge that it will help educate those who are lacking the resources.

We would value any amount as it is a way to fulfill a simple request of help. Your donation will mean so much to the Native's children, it may not elevate their social status but atleast give them basic education every child has a right to.
