Classics Publishing Trip to England

Take heart! My passion for classics started at a young age with the stories of Greek and Roman Mythology. Now that I'm older, my interests vary. I am particularly interested in the Ancient Persian Empire and hope to conduct future archeological work there. In the mean-time, I hope to try my hand at helping to publish a paper my spring break. I would be in London/Oxford University. More specically, I would be in King's College London while in London. The publisher is located in this city.

I have recently turned seventeen and can expect to attend St. John's College Santa Fe the upcoming fall. I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and was blessed with the opportunity of winning the Daniel Murphy Scholarship, that provides education services to at risk inner city youth.  I was accepted to boarding school and the rest is history. At school, I have worked hard. Now, I'd like to take yet another risk for my education. I will need your help!! :)

Both my parents are unemployed. If I am able to take this opportuniy and do a good job, there is a great chance that I will be hired throughout college in the archeology field This is a dream of mind and would relieve pressure from my parents.

The money is for airfare and transportation from London to Oxford. If I am overfunded, I plan on using the extra money for a trip to France, where I will have the opportunity to meet the wonderful lady who plans on translating this archeological research into French!
