Campaign Story
In loving memory of Claire Oakley nee Gibson, a beautiful person in every way. An amazing mother to two beautiful children (Roman 7 & Jelena 6), a wonderful wife to Paul, a daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, god parent (to my Livia) and fantastic friend to all.
Claire unfortunately lost her 6 year battle with cancer on Friday 5th August 2016. I cannot begin to tell you the issues, complications and battles that challenged this young family over this time but I can definitely tell you that Claire fought with dignity, passion and a smile that made her greatly loved by so many. Claire didn’t get to enjoy the longevity of life that she so richly deserved and has left my friend Paul and his family with an unfillable void.
Many of you have asked how you can pay tribute to Claire and after discussing with Paul (a proud man who asks for nothing) we have now set up this page for their children Roman & Jelena, we are all hoping anything raised will go towards their future happiness.
I believe that this page and any of your kind donations will show Paul and his children how very loved Claire was.
