For the third incarnation of Cirque du Trash Rave we are looking to up the ante a bit, but if you are not familiar with us let me introduce the trashiest camp on the range. Cirque du Trash Rave was founded by two lowly degenerates (Eddy Wilbers & Erick Taft) as a way to legitimize our loud music and flame thrower breakfast, but it has morphed into a contributing member of TTATC which speaks volumes about the event. In the three years since the inception of Cirque du Trash Rave we have found things missing in the community and do our best to slap some rave goo on that hole and call it a day.

The first thing that we realized was missing was consistent booty shaking music. This circus is held in place by many shoddy pillars but the most important of those is music. We will be bringing out as much sound and bass that we can get our hands on and will be serenading the masses throughout the event. Our focus is on music that is not in your face, but music that will keep your hips moving and your feet tapping. Rain or shine; sunrise or sunset come cut a rug with your favorite sleaze bags. Of the 1200$ we are looking to raise from this campaign we will be dedicating 400$ of that into up grading and transporting a system that will soothe and heal those broken hearts and minds.

Of course a circus is not a circus without some danger. As many happy burners can attest to, in 2015 we brought out the first and only stilt bar that TTATC has ever seen. Those same burners can tell you that they may have feared for their life at one point or another at that same bar. I admit it, the bar was pretty sketchy, no it did not fall over and crush anyone but it was a very real possibility. This year we are back at the drawing boards devising a way to bring back the bar with an added safety measure that is yet to be determined. On top of repairing the bar itself, many of stilts were badly injured and will need to be replaced. Of the 1200$ from this campaign we are allotting 400$ to fix the bar, the stilts, keep the bar stocked and ready with both boozy and not so boozy concoctions to sip away the afternoon towering above lesser people who have not learned how to raise their consciousness by raising their body. The bar will be open for business most afternoons and will be staffed by experienced stilters who want nothing more than for you to walk tall as god intended. Included in this part of the funding will include general maintenance of crucial infrastructure such as fixing up the dome and general decor.

At Cirque du Trash Rave we like to view ourselves as revolutionaries and dare I say trendsetters. One glaring hole we have discovered in the grand tapestry that is TTACT, is the lack of people flying. When I think about the many faces of TTATC I know there is a good many people who have trained long and hard to fly and who fly quite well. Why is TTATC basically spitting in these people's faces? Well we aim to do something about it. We will be bringing a freestanding 24 foot aerial rig that will be staffed by trained professionals who will be offering classes on both silks and lyra, the rig will also be open to play on during specified times and with the expressed permission of the professionals on hand. 400$ of the 1200$ from this campaign will be dedicated to renting and transporting TTATC's first and only aerial rig for your flying needs.

If all that is not enough we will be training both lions and tigers on site who with permission will be whipped into submission for the amusement of all. We will be supplying ways to create your own circus animal so as to let out those internal roars in proper fashion. This will be open to everyone as a way to conform to the theme...and because it will be fun. Although this will be open to interpretation, nudity is encouraged if you intend to be whipped and be apart of the show, because a circus just wouldn't be the same without thinly veiled animal cruelty.

Include in all of these sections we have factored in transportation costs.

We are really looking forward to making TTATC the best burner event in the midwest but we need your help and your participation to make that happen. Even if you will not be able to attend the event, we have a bunch of great prizes that everyone can enjoy.

With every 10$ donation you will be added into a raffle for your choice of prizes. The raffle will take place on 7/14/2016. Please include your name in the comment section. The physical prizes will be delivered in person if you live in the metro area and can be shipped for an additional fee. As for the classes at Stomping Ground Studio the pass can be used by one or more people and would make a great gift.

THANK YOU!

  • Chicks dig guitars. So, if I win it, I'll just walk around TTATC with it strapped to my back... naked.
