My wife has been diagnosed with CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy). We have been dealing with this since 2010 with a diagnosis just this year. She has had numerous test and has fallen several times breaking both feet and almost every toe. She receives IVIG treatment every three weeks. The cost of this treatment without insurance runs around $18,000 give or take. Still with insurance we are owing upwards of $10,000. My wife is a trooper. She has to use a walker untill she gets tired and then its the wheelchair. With this disease slowly taking her walking and sometimes hand cramps, she will obtain her masters degree this year. Any donations will be used to pay down this debt and eventually be used to help others with this disease by helping with medication, wheelchairs, walkers, help to travel to appointments.
