Cider Valley Phase 1

The cider culture is easily overlooked and the numbers are increasing every year. The craft movement opened doors for many cider enthusiasts to create what they love most,ciders. Cider Valley was not born to create ciders(as yet) but the concept of Cider Valley is to have a platform for worldwide craft ciders and commercial ciders in South Africa, an entirely new concept in Africa.   

Cider Valley is a distinctive cider eatery with a large selection of the finest ciders from across the globe. We as Cider Valley intend to offer an unprecedented, innovative cider experience. Our unique focus on ciders, local and international, gastro pub styled foods as well as cider and food pairing will be the Cider Valley experience.

What is Phase 1?

Phase 1 of Cider Valley will be to get our cider inventory. We need funding to bring in the different ciders the world has to offer and this means we need to handle import costs, licenscing, operation costs and basic start up for a small business like this. In order to get restaurant investment we need to prove that this is infact a unique concept and that the public will give a positive reaction and feedback. So phase 1 is securing a stall at a local food market, having all the ciders(craft and commercial) imported and available for the public to taste and enjoy, and running the business one step at a time until we have enough exposure and capital to prove to investors that this is infact a winning restaurant concept like we have been trying to express for months through our investment process.

Why Fund Us?

Cider Valley at the momment needs wings to grow and like many other businesses, capital is the water for any business seed. We need funds to create something that has never been done in Africa and to be honest time is not on our cide(see what we did there). We heard about the new and successful ways of online funding and figured we should give it a try as the investment process of our journey has had more downs than ups, simply because most investors believe South Africa is not ready as the craft beer movement has only just taken the country by storm. We however believe we found a niche market that is patiently waiting to thrive and we believe we have the platform to make this happen. So why fund us you may ask? Because we've been dreaming for too long and finding investors has been more of a nightmare so we turn to you in hopes that you too see this vision and would love to be part of the amazing african story of the cider brand(as it will one day be known).
